Receptionists friendly and welcoming. Nice lobby entrance. Liked the cold drinking water available in the reception area. Enjoyed happy hour and staff were readily available at the bar throughout the day. Room was a great size for family of 3. We were road facing and road noise was hardly noticeable. Breakfast was great! Chef continually cooking and topping up buffet. We managed to get free parking at either the rear hotel carpark or on the street each night. No problems there. We had an awesome family break.

Room was absolutely beautiful it was massive and well thought out. Very clean and well maintained, big wardrobe had plenty of space. Shower has amazing pressure very relaxing, big range of toiletries to use. I like a very soft bed and I found the bed to be abit firm for me but wasn’t to bad. Great car parking. Breakfast was delicious had massive selection of food and was all fresh and well stocked.

Great location, immaculate room and easy parking. Comfortable sleep in fully equipped room. Good service and breakfast in comfortable restaurant / bistro.

The room service was really great. The staff were friendly and accommodating and responsive. The food from the restaurant was really nice.

The Novotel was central to where we needed to be over the weekend, the rooms were well presented. There is tea & coffee with a jug, mugs and glasses. There is a large bathroom with an excellent shower. The television gave access to the Novotel site guide.

Friendly and professional front service staff. Very welcoming. Spacious comfortable room. A special mention to housekeeping that our room was serviced so beautifully. Restaurant was overall pretty good as was buffet breakfast.

Rooms were nice and clean. We asked for fresh towels daily and they were in before we finished breakfast. Prompt service. Breakfast was nice. There was a young gentleman on the first morning we had breakfast who was very good with kids showing them how to use the pancake mashine. Thank you for that 😊 Location was great

We ended up at the Novotel New Plymouth for 3 nights during the cyclone Gabrielle, as most of the North Island was badly affected and we were looking for somewhere out of the storm. The staff were excellent and extended our stay after it became clear that one day had to be sacrificed because of the weather. We liked the restaurant and bar and were impressed with how comfortable, spacious and modern the rooms were.

Room was large and so was the bed. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast with plenty of variety of cereals, hot food, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee and juices. The Staff onsite. All Staff. Were so helpful and friendly. They were amazing.
